Structural BIM
Structural 3D Modelling
Studio Minimal is a team of highly skilled professionals including BIM specialists, structural CAD drafters, and engineers, who work together to create intelligent and information-rich 3D models that are BIM-ready. Our team’s expertise lies in detailed structural design using a range of software such as Etabs, Staad Pro, and SAP. We are also proficient in structural 3D modeling using software like Revit and Advanced Steel, ensuring that our models are both accurate and highly detailed.
Detailed Drawings & Construction Document
We offer a comprehensive range of structural design services, including the creation of detailed drawings for various structural elements such as beams, columns, joists, stairs, lintels, roof frames, shelf angles, bearing plates, frames, and wall partition supports. Our team also provides a thorough review of shop drawings to ensure that they meet all necessary design specifications.
We provide a complete set of S-series drawings that includes all relevant information such as structural notes, abbreviations, and symbols. This includes foundation and column layout plans and details, as well as framing details and schedules. Our aim is to provide accurate and detailed drawings that enable our clients to achieve their construction goals safely and efficiently.
Steel Detailing
Steel detailing is the process of creating detailed drawings that fabricators and contractors use to produce steel components for construction projects. The process typically involves two main types of drawings: shop drawings or detail drawings, which specify every detail of an individual steel piece or component, such as columns, beams, joists, and braces; and erection drawings, which portray dimensioned plans and specify the location of each steel component. In addition to these drawings, steel detailing may also involve the creation of plans, estimates, and other reports to facilitate the fabrication and installation of steel components.
Rebar Detailing
Our steel detailing services include the preparation of shop and placing drawings, which serve as design drawings for iron workers. These drawings provide detailed information on the quantity, description, placement, bending shapes with dimensions, and laps of the reinforcing steel, allowing for efficient fabrication and installation of steel components.
We have expertise in preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) that correlate with both design and fabricator-specific bar shape standards. Our focus is on providing accurate and detailed drawings that facilitate the construction process and ensure the successful completion of projects.
